I had my coffee and I brought in all the red Russian kale and got it blanched and in the freezer. I beat the aphids. Usually I wait too long and aphids ruin most of the red Russian. I left some of the curly leave kale out there. We have used some in soup lately and I give a leaf now and then to the rabbit. brought all of the Nagasaki Late Chinese Cabbage except I left one out there. They did not bolt and are in good shape. I blanched all of it and put it in the freezer. I did leave 1 plant just to see. I tasted it after it was blanched and it has a very mild flavor.

I hope everybody has a nice safe July 4th. DD and family will be here later and my brother. DS is cooking steak and with his wife's sister and family we will have 14 people here including babies and kids, which is almost half of who will be here. If any more babies are born soon the kids will out number the adults. LOL

Strawberry Banana Cheerios with ... a banana and 2 strawberries in the bowl ;).

The things DW finds for my breakfast! Then, she doesn't eat them 🙄. We will have to stay on the fruit for the next few days. She insists that eating the 2 melons can be held off for several days but, Oh My, the berries!

Some chance of rain this morning but it's laundry day. Should be okay with hanging everything under the deck roof and nothing over the lawn. I'd be surprised if they don't dry although there's an official  drizzle at the nearby airport at 5AM.

We have had just this fine drizzle. It's not even dampening the soil
