I had 1 cup of coffee and breakfast and I did not do much in the garden. I see beans are starting and I saw a few little yellow squash. I gave the rabbit her ice. DS is going to put the other AC in the kitchen window. It is going to be really hot and it is hard to sleep at night, so we give up and adding the AC. I know it sounds crazy to complain about our heat when we cool down into the 60s at night. LOL

I am making plans for all the vegetables. I read where people in other countries eat minestrone soup for breakfast. I might not eat it for breakfast, but I am going to have it for lunch and side dishes for supper. I want to use up frozen vegetables too. When it is not hot I do take out vegetables and I roast them for lunch now and then.

DD pulled her garlic and she is so happy. lol They are huge purple stripe hard neck.

The Wilson family camped overnight on July 4, on their way for Shiloh to compete in a youth rodeo. They were swept away and drowned. The parents were found first, several days later, Shiloh was found.

I went to Kingwood yesterday to show support for the family of Jeff, Amber and finally Shiloh Wilson. They brought Shiloh home in Texas style to join his parents already at the funeral home. Thousands of people stood in respect, the Wilson’s were well known in Kingwood. A seemingly never ending procession of fire trucks, Deputy Sheriff cars, constables, motorcycle cops, brought Shiloh home to join his parents. Kingwood and the Houston area mourns.

This is the part of Texas that was especially appealing to me.

It has to help that it is such a large and diverse state. And, it probably helps that this is right outside the state lawmakers' window. Those folks here need some help.

Yet, I've not heard a single word from the leaders 🤔
Maybe they have a plan and publicy announced a plan to support their people? But it's not been announced here.
