I would have a measure of trust with the cabbage.

Can you put a blanket of some sort over the greenhouse. Or, cover what is inside by being placed in something like a plastic bag. Maybe just a little help would be enough.

Yarrow?? Dad had quite a population under a tree in his front yard where grass didn't grow well. I was always hoping that it would spread to be 100% of that yard but I wasn't the one doing the mowing.
The cabbage has now been outside for the night on the patio a couple of nights and in the sun. They are doing really well. The yarrow is still inside in the kitchen greenhouse. I have to read ore about yarrow.

it will certainly spread into a lawn even if you do mow it. i much more enjoyed it than grasses but the odor may not be what some people enjoy. i would recommend avoiding the silvery foliage yellow flowering varieties (if you were planning on mowing or walking on them) of yarrow though as they smelled to me like doggie doo.

the other more common varieties of yarrow that are white/pink/red flowers and have frondy-er leaves are much more comfortable to walk on.

that said if you do want them in your lawn they will look nice compared to what happens otherwise during dryer spells because they persist a bit better than grass during those dry spells.

all that said though, if you ever decide you want to remove them they're not easy at all to get rid of. we had several large patches of white that we let grow for some years and then Mom decided that she didn't like them and how they smelled bothered her so we smothered them with cardboard and wood chips.
I think part of my yard is yarrow. Years ago DD bought a white yarrow plant and planted it in the herb garden I had in the front and I think it has spread all over. I took pictures of it last year and I am pretty sure it is yarrow. The whole yard needs to be dug up and reseeded. Now we have moss and my brother said he has moss for the first time and he told DS about something to use to kill the moss.

I hope everybody had a nice Easter. It was in the 60s so the kids got to play outside and swing. There are 3 swings and now my brother is talking about making a bigger one because Evelyn and Izzy are swinging so high. He took the baby swing seat off and put a regular seat on for Wes who is 3 and can swing now. The twins will have to use the baby swing seat.

It will be in the 79s today and I have a lot of plants outside. I am not sure what I am going to do with all of them though. lol
