Here is the new and improved super-duper-brooder-cooper build out. I screwed everything together so it can be easily removed once the CX are processed. In one pic you can see my best friend Fred helping out a bit with cutting the wire. In another you can see my daughter Elizabeth's boyfriend pretty much doing nothing. He's young but I'll get him whipped into shape before long. He joining the Army and leaving for basic in September. I plan to give them something decent to work with
He's a good kid though.
The layers are the only ones that benefited from this build. The CX don't seem to care about anything but the food supply. I did have to move the younger CX to the back of the coop. Tomorrow I am integrating them with the older ones.
This should be the last brooder/coop change until the CX are processed. After that, I will remove the layer brooder wall and give them the run of the place.

Hopefully, this will reduce some of the fighting and pecking problems.
