Hey y'all! :frow

Where has this forum been all of my life?!?!?! :th I've been on BYC for awhile and I had no idea this was here!

A little about me:
I've been gardening for about 15 years now.
I am a Certified Master Gardener.
I've worked at a small greenhouse for at least 5 seasons - on and off thru high school and college. Did everything...retail, planting and propagating, growing, maintaining displays, etc.
I'm currently an assistant grower at a larger wholesale greenhouse!

Here are some pics of the weed beds that have kept my hands dirty over the years (at my parent's house). These pics are pretty much all of the same area...it just changes with each year and with each season.

Wow,

You have the touch! You paint a beautiful landscape! Are you a seed collector too? I bet you can throw together a great carpet mix!

Thanks for Sharing! I look forward to all your newest creations. :ya

Eh...not so much a seed collector...I dunno. I like to use a lot of reseeding annuals. My favorites are Shirley poppies, Catchfly, Love-in-a-Mist, and 'Indian Summer' Rudbeckia. When they go to seed I normally just take it and sprinkle it all over the beds to make sure stuff keeps coming back...:p So I guess I'm more of a Seed Spreader. :D I have collected seed in the past to share w/ friends and family, but I don't normally collect it.

Hi cwhit!

Lovely garden -- I especially love the carpet of wooly thyme at the base of those steps -- the smell must be great as you walk in that area. Clever idea! :clap

Oh it is so fabulously done... to watch it morph year by year you can see all the love and ideas that came and went with the plants.

Annuals are a lot of fun! Reseeding themselves is a GREAT way of doing it.

The guys were asking about you collecting seeds because a lot of us do it here and we trade and gift them to one another. You could say we're SEED OBSESSED!!!!

;)
