DH Brought Home Goodies

[Broke Down Ranch]

Yesterday Roger did yardwork for the older couple I have mentioned before. He brought home several rooted grape turtles (his name for crepe myrtles), a plastic bag full of moss rose cuttings, and a tree that resembles a dogwood but doesn't flower. He says he mows it down all the time but it keeps coming back. This time he dug it up and brought it home....lol. We had DR appt for 2 of the kids to get shots so I didn't have a chance to get them planted. Guess I will be busy today.

For me any day I get to do something "gardening" is a good day

I'd be a bit careful of the dogwood-like tree that does not bloom. Sounds like it could be very invasive. I'd want to know what it is before I put it in the yard. Maybe container plant it until you find out?

On the other stuff, congratulations are definitely in order.

congrats Crape Myrtles are wonderful trees. They flower for a long season here.
