Dog Food

My last 2 Dalmatians have only gotten rice/lamb food. Any good brand. I was told that by the breeder and it has worked out well. My dogs as a kid would clear a room with their gas and this dog doesn't ever do that. Strange.

I had a client that was shipping her dog food from Italy. It was the food her breeder told her to feed. I said your breeder thinks you have to much money. She is out of her mind if she can not find a food she likes in this country.

Agreed! It's a dog, for Pete's sake...they'll eat their own poop if they take a notion to do so. Most will eat their own vomit.

We use duralife for our 6 dogs , we used to feed them the loyal but they changed the formula and some of the dogs did not like it. So we started buying other brands trying to find one all the dogs would eat, and duralife was it. It made somewhere in Minnesota, that about all I know about it.

Six Dogs ~&&^^&((^^? ~ And these six (6) dog run ~ between the wall and the Great House ~ keeping out all lower life and salesmen ```

Couldn't she just find out what the breeder recommended that brand for and put that in the food she gave the dog? I find preparing my dog's food easy and very reasonably affordable.

I must have missed what you recommend, NYboy. I gather you run a kennel?

Oh, BTW, I don't think I mentioned before that I graduated from Arlington HS. Is it still in Lagrange? I was class of 65 so I would imagine MUCH could have changed. ...not including the fact that Lagrange was pretty isolated and undeveloped way back then. It was a 15 or 20 minute school bus ride just to get out there from Arlington proper.

I can remember looking out the classroom windows at acres upon acres of hills changing colors in the Fall. And getting FABULOUS apple cider fresh from the presses.

LA has many many delights but in 50 years I haven't gotten over the pure bliss of fresh pressed cider! Probably new will.

And while I'm roaming down memory lane, is Beck's still in business on 44? They used to operate a tap where you could fill up your own container. I know Adams' Farm on 55 has become BIG and LUCRATIVE business on 55. My husband is still occasionally in touch with another Poughkeepsie friend who was close with one of the Adams "kids" and we hear occasional updates.

You would not believe lagrange today it is the hottest place.. It is the fastest growing town in Dutchess. Everyone runing away from Westchester taxes are moving there. About 20 years ago they built a state of art middle and high school. Because of the new school everyone with kids are moving there. The small family farms are now housing devlopments The prices of houses have sky rocketed . Adams I love very upscale there are 5 different ones now. Million plus homes are not uncommon there now
