Tractor and God mower are now in the shop, to be back on June 6th in great shape.
Yesterday I weeded the two front sidewalk edge beds. I was very happy to discover the that weeds And the huge rhubarb hadn't killed of my mini pink rose!
I pulled 5 rhubarb stalks and leaves and mulched them around the little rose to get down weeds.
I thought it a clever move...
I also sawed down piles of saplings. DH moved them to north pasture burn pile.
When I get back I should be able to push mower down along that fenceline and gradually clean up all of the debris from now 2 years ago, when my larch fell over, killed the pine tree east of it and blocked all mowing north side of the house.

I am having a terrible time trying to get my photos from my phone!!! :rant:somad:somad:somad
Usually I email them to myself and then copy/edit/save as after running it through Irfanview, but this issue is downright irritating!!
Here's hoping DD's can help me fix this!
Anyway, here is my Mr. Lincoln Rose from earlier this week.View attachment 74841

Beautiful roses ****s.

And yes there is an easier way to post pics from your iPhone. Check to see of your iPhone is pared to your pics in your media used to store pics. That is an important factor.

What I do when I’m stumped by computer issues I ask Siri how to do so and so with the media components I have and ask for YouTube… this will a visual video showing the process.

I’m sure your DD can assist you too. It’s so cotton picken incredibility frustrating when thes issues come up.
I hope you can easily post many pics as the garden season is just starting. Always love all your posts.😍

My rider tractor goes to the shop next week for a major tune up. It’s still under warrantee. I have put 198 miles on it since last May 2024.. Changesd the oil 2x’s and cleaned to gas and carb filter. But I cannot get the oil filter off it machined on by the factory and that is a tough one to get off. Also change a tire with a small leak form blackberries. What a pain these wild black berries are. … did I mention I hate wild blackberries with canes as big as a T post.

I’m goin to sell my John Deere compact tractor. It’s a pain too, bucket and all. I only use it for large projects but it’s a pain to deal with tune Up - upgrades every year not to mention it takes diesel fuel another issue. It’s always started up well and has served it’s unauthorized purpose in the barn as the horses roommate. All in all it’s to much for me since I already have been coping with a lot recently .

Gosh, I'm sorry that it's such a P.I.N.A.!!
The diesel fuel has never been a problem for us. We have 2 old WWII/Korean War issue Jerry Cans, and we have two fuel pumps that use batteries, one for the tractor and for unleaded (all mowers/tiller).
What kind of repairs have you had to make?

Yes and I can not lift those huge tanks any more to fill them at the gas station. I have auto pump batteries op to fill the tractor tank but I still have to lift the diesel fuel to fill the diesel tractor.

I have three 55gallon barrels with pumps of gasoline fuel set up with typical gas pump for the rider tractor. Easy fill. No lifting .
