I saw a very nice small tree at the Dallas Arboretum yesterday. It is called Eve's Necklace. Has some pink blooms in the Spring and produces a fruit in late summer/fall (where the name originated from). The fruit is supposed to be poisonuos. Since I have three mid to large sized dogs, I was wondering if anyone with pets might comment on how appropriate this tree might be. My mutts totally ignore shrubbery like azaleas, roddies, hydrangeas and all berry producing hollies; they prefer to dig instead. ;) But I still wanted to check.

TIA, Luis

Here is a look from afar:

The inside seemed hollow but maybe they were pruning it and ended up look like that:

Here is a close up of the end of the branches (nice small leaves + tree size attracted me to it):

I have a white sport of eve's necklace. they've always been on this property since we've had it. the dogs have never had an issue with it.
