:hu Their's this huge walnut tree that my neighbor has that must be acting strange, the funny thing is that it thinks its autumn already and its leaves are starting to fall down. I don't mean one or two leaves I actually sweep up a pile of leaves every day or so. I think its way too early to start seeing fall leaves so soon, I don't want to see fall arrive anytime soon, I hope summer sticks around a lot longer. But seeing all these fallen leaves is not a good sign.

I'm visiting family in PA, and have noticed lots and lots of leaves falling, even one tree in full red fall color already!!! Depressing... :hit

If leaves are falling already it doesn't necessarily indicate an early fall, heat and drought can cause trees to begin the process early.
So, take heart summer lovers! We may have an extended season anyway! :)
Oh, and to you southerners, I hope things cool off considerably for you, but we are just now getting summer conditions.
