I don't know.
Yes, all the views of the seasons can be very pleasant ... when you can see them!
I like how the angle of the sun gets so low at midday that the sunlight glistens off the blades of grass as one walks south. But, there has to be light, not to mention blades of grass. Oh, I take that back - midday sunlight can be very beautiful reflected off of snow.
Darkness. What can anyone say about the dark? I mean, darkness without a full moon or the bouncing flashlight as someone walks towards you on a path. Maybe if I had better hearing it wouldn't seem so ... devoid of detail.
I don't require 24 hours of daily sunlight! I mean, my eyes are closed and I'm asleep some of the time. Ya know, barely conscious, generally unaware of my surroundings. Like ... "in the dark." Come to think of it, I sleep quite well during daylight ...
The opposite season: spring-like conditions are sometimes aggravating because there is this desire to be out-of-doors and the weather often doesn't cooperate. Of course, that's why we have window glass.
