No wonder these trees are rare, they suck at growing in a timely manner.
At least 30 confirmed sprouting, but taking *forever* to come up. 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️

Cows ate the trees
I forgot the wire!
Went and got the posts, completely forgot about the 🤬 mesh wire!!
😭😭😭
Weather is nice, so I've been trying to redo the tree fences. I've got the memory of a pile of watery mud! 😭

Got the trees refenced wider with 4 posts vs 3. Will add hot wire next. Won't work on sheep, I'll have to add stakes to the bottom of the mesh in winter to keep those mofos out!

Been moving the sprouting ones to their own group holder. Just so it's easier to monitor them. 25 so far.

Zone 6B or 7 can't decide
Looks like soil nutrients deficiency. Try Southern AG or Peters Professional water soluble fertlizer (20-20-20 with chelated minor elelements). I like it because of the chelated minor elelements that become instantly available to the plant. It would probably help with the slow growers also. The label as has ratio for foliar spray, but I dont think that's the problem.

Out of nearly 200 seeds....
50 are sprouting, are seedlings.
Horrible success rate...

Moved all of the growing ones together.
Dumped all the fails into three pots just in case.
Rest, I'll either save the soil for other seeds or dump it into all of the big planters I have to top off this autumn.
