I have lots of unused fish tanks and im wondering what to do with them. Would they work if they were upside down and propped up on one side as a mini greenhouse? Or any other ideas?

You could put your seed starts in pots in them and just cover the tops with plastic wrap to keep in the moisture. You could grow tropicals in them, as a terrarium. You could tip them upside down in the spring over your seed starts, like a cold frame/greenhouse. Just remember to prop them up during the day- your plants will get too hot under the glass. Let us know what clever ideas you come up with....

I like the idea of a terrarium. Some simple tropical species, maybe add the animals later and have your own eco-system in glass! :)

I keep turtles.
