It's a pie!

Or, something else. Cobbler, Crisp ... a Slump?

Well, it's time for a whole lotta fruit to be ripening. What are you gonna do with it?

:D Steve

Edit: And, what is that one with a great, big bottom crust, rolled around the filling? The whole thing is baked on a cookie sheet or pizza pan, I suppose. DW does real good with her crust.

Got Rhubard? Found this recipe, and can't wait to try it when I get home from CO.

Rhubarb upside-down cake

• 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 4 cups of chopped rhubarb
• 1 yellow cake mix prepared according to directions on the box

Into a 13x9-inch baking pan pour melted margarine and sprinkle with brown sugar. Spread chopped rhubarb over the sugar mixture. Prepare a yellow cake mix according to the directions on the box. Pour batter over rhubarb. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes or until cake is done.
Oh, hate it when somebody leaves ingredients OUT, but I usually make my yellow cake with 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, which is Part of this recipe, so we'll see if it works!
I have 3 rhubarb plants and nobody is harvesting them.
