They do have eight eyes you know...

Not really insect eyes. Spiders do have eight legs ... but, most also have 8 eyes, according to Wikipedia. Some have less and cave spiders may have none.

my favorite spiders-the regal jumping spider. i've only seen 1 in my lifetime so far that was about the size of a nickle & the rest have been tiny but i still like how they move methodically & sometime even look like they are staring at you.

for some reason this one reminds me of the Lorax.
