Fellows I need some help, I'm in uncharted territory. When having a disagreement with my wife she stunned me by telling me "You're right". Takes your breath away doesn't it? Does this warrant a call to 911 or is the emergency room OK? Something is obviously wrong but I don't know how serious it is.

I hesitate to try to get her into treatment as word is bound to leak out if I do. She might lose her woman's card. No more sipping tea and gossiping with friends. She might not get that phone call when shoes go on sale. When we go out, assuming we can find someone to go out with, she might have to go to the bathroom alone. I don't want her to go through that but I just don't know how serious this is. Any advice appreciated.

When my wife does that I kinda lay low for awhile lol. Just waiting for the hammer to drop.

@Nyboy IF only that is how parents thought. We are a "it's never my fault" society. When someone's kids are not what they need to be, it's because of outside influences-teachers, other kids, neighbors, situations, TV, internet, etc......

@Ridgerunner Just be ready for lecture when you make a mistake. You will get a tongue lashing for mistake and for not recognizing and acknowlodging her being right quick enough. Wouldn't want to be you.....

Re: summer and kids....not everybody has a hard time being with their kids 24/7. There's a whole culture out there that spend their time this way, and they wouldn't trade it for all the riches in the world. Yep, been there done that, would do it all over again in a nano second.
