Garden Myth #1, Deer Don't eat Potatoes...

I really hope the moose are eating your potatoes, Thistle...because if its deer, I am in trouble! Our potato field is a favorite spot for the local deer population. So far, the worst they have done is trample a few of the plants. Hoping this pattern continues and I don't have to check back in, to bust that myth!

Rabbit reproduction rampant in south-est, central-est Wisconsin this year, too. It seems we drove down asmall road to see one rabbit after another. So far, I've had not problems with them. Granddaughter's two cats make meals of the bunny babies and I seldom see adults on the land.

It is. So far they haven't worn out their welcome. And I can keep blaming the deer for the destruction. Found a pile of droppings.

Naughty Moose. I bet there are not a lot of fences able to keep a determined moose out.
