Peas are a good plant for the younguns to start out with. Easy to plant and so yummy to eat straight from the garden!

Nice, I like it when I can put mine to work. The boys will normally till for me but then they don't help much until it's time for the eating. My daughter is almost 6yrs old and loves to help. She is probably going to be big enough this year. In the past she is mostly the digger of plants (instead of weeds) and the picker of green tomatoes (instead of the nice red ones). I am hoping to get her trained this year.
