That brought tears to my eyes. 😢

I'm sure this was Nancy during many nights, she'd wake me up.
I know she wasn't in a shelter, thank goodness but she didn't have the best life where she was

She's not crying out anymore. And When I went shopping a couple of day ago, no one heard her crying. Another improvement Nancy 👏

Nancy is in dog Heaven. ❤️
My friend said exactly the same.

She's going to have to learn a few lessons now though. She can't jump up bark and just play with small dog. I thought it was 💯 percent aggression but today was definitely playing but it didn't sound like it too the small dog that only just came into season.

After barking loudly she ran off to fetch her hedgehog toy.
She has a trainer coming in on Monday. Hopefully we can resolve this behaviour in time🤞 .

Not being able to mix with doggo friends has held her back

i'm so glad you could give them a home and i hope they all get along. :)
Mabel gets along with all other dogs (scared of all humans except me, but loves all members of her own species) and Bella and Saffy have lived together their whole lives, so the pack has integrated well. I like that even though they've lost their original owner, Bella and Sapphire get to stay together.

The two new comers have been here now for 3 weeks. We've gone to the vet for checkups and vaccinations. I do think, like the pup in the cartoons, that when we entered the vet clinic they feared they were going to be switching homes again. Not a surprising conclusion to draw, given their recent history of home to rescue, rescue to foster home, and then to my house, but when we pulled into the garage and they realized they were at the same home again, they both relaxed.

Their DNA test results arrived yesterday. Bella was supposed to be a rat terrier and Saffy a smooth fox terrier.

Well.. Bella is primarily a rat terrier with a smidgeon of some unknown breeds far back. Pretty much as expected.

Sapphire, on the other hand... terrier, yes. fox terrier, no. Boston terrier and poodle are her dominant breeds!

You just never know! I'm glad that poodle was in the mix to lengthen the squashed in nose of a Boston terrier, so she won't have breathing problems.
