I've had to put boundaries down with Nancy big time.

She has improved significantly. But she's playing up as I leave my home and there's a heck of a lot I have to attend to outside of my home as well as inside it. Plus she's been pulling on the lead far to much and not always listening to my commands outside when something or someone interests here.

I'm really trying to get rid as much as possible the training she's had of being a yard dog. So I have pulled back on the love and attention and making her go onto her bed and even in the cage the last two days.
She gets out of the cage way to easily so I have to get a padlock or even a few.

Please would you share updates? On this ongoing story that you have shared with us 😊
You can follow along too @Marie2020! The trainers name is Sean O'Shea, and his company is called The Good Dog Way: Training and Rehabilitation. This is his instagram account, he probably has Facebook too I imagine. https://www.instagram.com/thegooddogtraining/?hl=en

The post with the story of the cattle dog and now the new dog are some of the most recent posts, 2 days ago I think, their names are Tank (the cattle dog) and now Luca. The thing I like about Sean O'Shea's work is he tends to get pretty severe cases, dogs who have owners that are giving them one last shot, because they've tried everything else and cannot live as they are anymore with the dog. So you get to see a lot of dogs on track to possibly be euthanized, get saved. We're living through a time where really lots of people are having trouble with their dogs. Nimbus is the last dog he posted about, his family decided they could not keep him with his behaviors but decided to put him through Sean's board and train before re-homing him. He came out so different that they decided to keep him, the new and improved Nimbus. lol I love a happy ending in dog rehab!

My huge problem with following this guy is due to past experiences I will never look at Facebook at all. As for Instagram it's one of those social sites again I couldn't trust.

I only use this site which is connected to BYC . I'm comfortable here. I look at youtube but I wouldn't ever comment. If I did I'd land up arguing with some there. I'm way to outspoken to keep out of trouble online.

I will put Sean O"sheas name in the search bar. Hopefully he's sharing on YouTube fingers 🤞.

Thanks again for sharing 😊

Nancy has had her first yogurt pot to lick. She loved it. Now it's all clean for recycling ♻️ 🙌 👏

Funnily enough. I had already come across Sean O'shea yesterday quite by chance in shorts. , "5 dogs not to have" and dismissed him because I hadn't found any of his posts that I related to.

Hopefully he will post the dogs that is currently working on, in the future on YouTube.

However I have subscribed and will keep checking any future posts of his.

OK, little troopers, it's time to give Ducks ANY and all puppy advice!!
I think I can handle the food, I found the training treats, BUT, I would love your ideas for puppy toys and what toys you think I should avoid.
I also would like anybody's advice on training--it's been awhile and I've had older dogs help with training for the past decade--not this time.
ANY comments will be great appreciated!!! :hugs
