Good Nights Sleep

Most nights no matter what time I go to bed don't fall asleep till 4am
Oh my goodness! I usually go to bed at 9pm. Sometimes I stay up till 10pm if I'm not getting up at 5am the next morning to go to the gym. When it's a hard workout I am very tired and go to bed at 8:30pm. Glad I don't have little ones. What a luxury to be able to go to bed that early!

It's just after 4am.

I have been "up" for an hour.

Getting to bed early was followed through with and not even preceded with dozing off in the lazy boy. That's not very polite behavior although DW is now "up" and has dozed off on one of the sofas ..! She will keep me from heating water for tea for awhile. Rumor has it that she can hear both the microwave alarm and the tea kettle whistle without hearing aids. The sacrifices I have to live with by having normal people around!!

hey up! she has rolled over on the couch ... we are closer to a day of beneficial activities!

I go to bed at 9:00 or 9:30 after begging my husband for an hour. He keeps telling me I will get up too early. Almost every night I wake up at 2:00 ready to get up. Every few nights I fall back asleep. Most of the time I just lay there for 1 hour then I get up. Sometimes I doze off in the recliner but it's not a nice way to spend the second half of the night....

I have learned not to think about my sleeping habits in the morning and just move on with the day. That way I don't feel so drained. I run and run all day each day....

waretrop, my husband says the same thing as yours. He too wakes up too early if he goes to bed early. But he does cat nap in the evenings. I keep telling him not to do that so that he can get a full 8 hours sleep but he doesn't listen. :\

I get 7.5 hours sleep straight during the week. On weekends I'll sleep a little more, like 8-8.5 hours straight. They've done sleep studies on me and they are always amazed at how fast I fall asleep. It's under 3 minutes.

:he:he:heMy sleep habits are a lot like others here. Usually between 2 and 4 hours per night with the occasional 6-8 hour nights. Seems like when you start getting older and could use more sleep you get less:he
