"Socialization" is an interesting subject.
Having attended government schools my whole life I was of course surrounded by all the other well socialized children.
And nobody was ever ignored, ridiculed, ostracized or beat up because they were different. Nope. Just a big ol' happy level playing field where our education was optimized by social experimentation and engineering by bureaucrats that loved us as their own and only had our best interests at heart.

Worst day of my life was putting my innocent kinder garden kids on bus...... well, maybe NOT my worst day......

I had a friend, great big 300# burly dude, beard down to his waist, same age as I am.
His very young GF had a baby and shagged a$$ with the child.It didn't seem to bother him at all, I think because he had already raised a couple of kids.
When the child was about 2 yrs old the mother died in an auto accident and it was left to him to raise the child.
One morning he showed up at the diner for breakfast very sullen with bloodshot eyes, I asked what was going on.
He had just put the kid on the bus for his first day of school, taking lots of pics, he then sped to school so he could get pics of the kid exiting the bus and entering the building for his first day of school.
I let him know I thought this was quite odd but he reassured me that there were lots of the other mothers doing the same thing.
I made him turn in his man card!!!!

Wish I would have remembered getting pix of kids getting OFF of bus at school....... & no, you can't have my man card!
