ok, i have fairly new grape plants in 5 gallon pots. They were growing GREAT! big bushy and green. i placed tehm were they get lots of sun and teh sprinkler system waters tehm every day automaticly.
i went away on vacation for a week and came back to find all my grape plants dried up and dead looking! what the heck?!
to find out that my sprinkler system had a busted pipe while i was gone and the plants went for a week woth no water. Is that long enough to kill them?
i immediatly watered tehm as i can see no other issues.

I am worried, will they come back and what can i do to help them come back?

They should come back assuming that the basal stem did not die off completely, which I'm guessing it probably did not. Removing completely dead parts from the plant should help bring it back as well.

I would recommend to you that you try and water at the base and not on the leaves since most grapes can pretty easily develop mildew and other problems from overhead watering. This can also cause big problems during fruiting.

Good luck!
