Its ok, you were the first person I thought of when I got the email this morning. Figured you'd be going through it already at that point.

I have the mag though so I can sit and chill with it on the couch.

In fact, I got March's copy yesterday and I'm about to hit it hard... LOTS of good articles in it with spring coming.

Thanks you all! Nooowww I'm trying to decide what I'm going to use for the trellis itself..

Has anyone used fencing(spaces 1ft x 6inches) tied vertically in between Tposts for tomato plants??

I'm thinking it will hold the weight.. or just hoping lol

Wow, wife- what can't you do with cattle panels? Those are some great pics. Now, you've got me wondering if I could make a big arch and use it as an arbor for grapes.....

So that's what I'm going to do with the extra pig pannels we have saved the last few years! I hated my tomato cages last year and wanted a more efficient way to grow my cukes :weight You guys are so smart

Yes, I'm planning on redoing my whole garden this year to raised bed and vertical growing. I'm going to be able to plant 3 or 4 times the stuff that i could before, just need to find out how to make a string trellis?

Already started on the raised beds and even some cold frames:

I have already figured out what I am growing in 2 of my vertical areas. Against the quail pen fence I am planting Collective farm woman melon.

In the front yard I am planting Rich Sweetness 132 melons. Both types of melons are small so I shouldn't have to support them.

Now I need to find a good place to put a cucumber trellis and a pie pumpkin trellis.

do the pie pumpkins, acorn squash, butternut squash and cantalope need extra suport under the fruit or can the vine hold them?
