Hamburger Dills in Ball Blue Book

I have the new Ball Blue book and recipe for hamburger dills says to put salt, water, vinegar and bring to a boil and simmer until SUGAR comes to a boil. There is no sugar in the recipe. Does anybody have this recipe in an older book? Does it have sugar?

I found my answer. Somebody else asked the same question and there is no sugar in this recipe.
