Wishin'
Deeply Rooted
Ya'll have got me curios to taste it now, I'll have to ask my neighbor if she grows it.
Ahhhh.......gumbo....Never had gumbo eitherI think if it (okra)were offered to me I'd eat it but I certainly won't go out and grow some with my limited garden space. They look interesting though.
Swamp Soup!
I love gumbo! Shrimp! Chicken and sausage! Duck! Crab! Alligator! Yum!

Rattlesnake is MUCH better fried.
Somebody from homegrown goodness offered them to me before the whole blackberry thing. He told me he was going to send the Campbell 1327, but when I opened it, he had sent a packet of the 1327 AND a packet of a pear shaped Campbell tomato called the Campbell 19
What a nice surprise.
Happy to be at faultAbout 15 years ago, I grew Viva Italia paste tomatoes. It was almost completely by accident! I couldn't figure out why I chose a non-sweet tomato.
It is all @Wishin' s fault! This year I have deliberately chosen a paste tomato! It is an early variety and a determinate: Heinz 2653 Paste Tomato.
I don't usually go for a determinate variety but this has the days to maturity that should fit well with the season here. You know, these paste varieties require a long season usually.
That I have done this is all Wishin's fault.
