HELP! Forgot an ingredient are they safe to eat?

Hi....

First time canner here and didn't put in the canning salt on a batch of pickles I made a few weeks ago. They canned fine just forgot to add the salt. They've been in the pantry in the dark for a few weeks now are they safe to eat? Or should I dump them and make a new batch?

I figured you folks would know....thank you!!!!

They've sealed properly and they're preserved properly... but I'm not too sure I'd like the taste. :sick However, I've never had them to say for sure.

Just open a jar a week or so before you intend to use it. Pour in the right amount of salt and refrigerate it for a week or so. That will give the salt time to penetrate. Pickles will keep for up to a year in the refrigerator.
