In my usual haste and short-sightedness I only bought one climbing rose when it'll look better if we have two....one on each side of the front gate.
I'm going to buy a second one, the first being a Joseph's Coat, this week. Thinking about getting a climbing blaze. Any other suggestions?

I really really really like Climbing Iceberg (not regular iceberg, the climbing version)(well, I like the regular one too of course :p). I've not grown it but have seen it several times and was much impressed, and it certainly *seemed* to be a pretty hearty critter.

One advantage is that, its flowers being white, you would not have to worry about potentially clashing just-off shades next to your Josephs Coat.

Just a thought,

Pat

Do you want to bring out the red, or the yellow in the Joseph's Coat? Or do something else completely?

I would go with Ginger Syllabub myself. I like the really smelly ones.

Thanks y'all. I didn't find anything new and exciting at the local stores, so I'm off to J & Ps website.
