Here comes the sun. And the moon?

This morning when I woke, I looked out the doors in the bedroom. The moon was a beautiful 1/2 moon.

Then, I went down stairs to get the camera and saw this beautiful sunrise!

How amazing is that? The sun and moon both showing at the same time. Pretty cool in my book.

I noticed this morning that I could still see the moon in the southeastern sky long after the sun started to rise. Very pretty.

I too saw the same thing, a few hours after you easterners.

Tomorrow morning, the moon will be even closer to the sunrise!
