I know I've kind of been rubbing it in that I can grow Winter veggies here. Guess what? We had a frost last night. Not much of one. You probably wouldn't even notice it in your part of the country but my sub tropicals are looking sad this morning. My chayote vines are really looking sorry. Glad to say though that my regular Winter veggies like collard, kale and pak choy are still fine.

Can you say,"NEENER NEENER?" :lau

Dang Hoo, rub it in, why don't ya. :tongue

How about that- we had a frost last night too!! Ours was about 7 inches deep!!! Just saw a report of snow for the next 5 days, with colder temps!!! Hope your warm weather is back sooner than that! Spring is 47 days away!!!!

I don't need that much frost. The subtropicals we grow around here let you know in no uncertain terms they don't appreciate a chill. Looks as though we may get another one tonight.
I spent a lot of time in the Finger Lakes region so I know how cold it can get there. I remember wrapping a muffler around the lower part of my face and having my breath go up and form icycles on my eyebrows.
When it got that cold the snow would squeak instead of crunch when you walked on it.
