Hi everyone I just joined today, I live in the island of Grenada, I am going to be honest I don't know much about flowers etc but I am willing to learn.
I have some uncultivated lands of which I would like to plant and learn how to plant to make a wonderful creation for flowers tree and wild life. I have had this lands since 2008 and because of my lack of knowledge it is not going well. I just would like to discover what to do with ideas, advice and tips etc
Nice to meet everyone hope this is the beginning of something wonderful.

Wow, Denise, We've never had a member from Grenada. Welcome to the friendliest gardening forum around!
Please tell us about your growing conditions: I must confess I know nothing about Grenada. What is the temperature and the rainfall? What is growing well there now? Windy all the time? Salt spray?
Do you wish to grow edibles, or ornamentals, or both? (questions, always questions.....)

Welcome Denise, I must confess I don't know anything about Grenada either. It will be fun getting an education from you. What seems to grow well there? What is the terrain like? Pictures would be wonderful so that we can actually see it. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Every place has it's own growing requirements. Just keep trying and experimenting with yours. Any locals with wisdom that can assist you?

Howdy and welcome from south-est, central-est Wisconsin, (USA) @Denise Chetram on Grenada!

I am tickled to meet people from all around the world through the internet. You are from a new place to learn about and that's great in my book.

I'm not sure how helpful I will be with my cold winter climate and not-so-hot summers, but I'll sure try. I also hope to learn from you and your gardening adventures.

Welcome! Glad to have you growing with us!

If you are wanting to make a creation of flowers and trees and wildlife, tell us what are the native plants there. I am in northeast Texas and while it is not tropical, our winters are not that bad. I would suggest planting trees that make fruit, nuts or edibles for wildlife. There are flowers that wildlife like too. Welcome to the forum!
