It's been said here frequently, but all gardening is local. Those dates are great reminders if your local climate supports them, but they can't possibly be universal.

Yeah, they aren't universal because I can garden year round. Ok, I'll stop and be nice.

have wondered why only get payed for 5 holidays and there is a whole bunch of holidays that we don't ?
theres every
hallmark card day
equal rights day
every religious day

but noo there's no payed holiday that my birthday falls upon every year ....go figure

My sister-in-law works for Farm and Fleet. They give their employees their BD off paid! Too bad all employers do not think like that! Wouldn't it be fun to say your BD is a paid Holiday? My son has a Nov. 25th BD so occasionally he gets his Thanksgiving/BD off work.

You should. My boss is very generous in giving me quite a few, all Federal Holidays, winter break, and 2 weeks in summer. The paid birthday is not that important to me.
