Hi everyone! I’ve been lurking for a while, but finally wanted to share something that has helped me a ton this season.

I always struggled with overcrowding my veggie beds—I’d plant too many seeds in one spot, and by mid-season, everything was just stunted. It was so frustrating to waste all that time and effort. I realized I was just guessing my way through the planting phase instead of planning it properly.

To fix this, I actually built a simple plant spacing calculator just to help me visualize exactly how many plants I can fit in my garden beds without suffocating them. It really helped me stop guessing!

Ever since I started using this gardening layout planner to map out my rows, my harvest has been way more consistent. It’s saved me so much headache when I’m out in the dirt.

Anyway, I’m curious—how do you guys handle spacing? Do you eyeball it, or do you have a specific method you swear by? I'd love to hear your tips and what you're growing this year!
