How was everyone's Thanksgiving?

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I went on vacation for 2 weeks to North Carolina. I spent Thanksgiving their also, I had a lot of fun. My parents have property their and a house, thats not quite done yet. Me and my father were their putting tiles in and doing other things there. I wasn't so happy to come back, i really enjoy being in NC so much better then where i live in NY. I'll post some pictures of the property and house. I like how everything is coming out so far, i'm starting to think about some ideas i would like for the future their in terms of gardening and other things i would like to do their. I really miss being there but i know there will always be next time.

I had a nice Thanksgiving, all except for my neighbor's dog attacking my chickens just as we sat down to dinner. Good news though, both chickens survived thanks to my husband. Bald, injured chickens and turkey dinners just do not go together!

Thanksgiving was nice highlighted by two 19 year old boys rocking out with my 3 year old grandson to "Mary Had a LIttle lamb " on the Karaoke machine

the aftermath was ..a lot of sleep days and days of sleep

Here are pictures of my parent's property in North Carolina as promised. A week ago when i was there me and my dad had the driveway done. Its looking great so far i'm liking how its all coming together. I'm already thinking of planting maybe some small evergreens or roses all along the driveway with nice pebbles perhaps? :/

I'll be sure to post pictures again when i go back next time. Oh yeah, i can't wait to start planting there, theirs so much space there, i believe there's about an acre and a half or so i'll have to see if thats correct.
I miss being in North Carolina but i know there will always be next time.
