I have a client that comes in every other week, most times she sends in her house keeper Mary. Mary is a very sweet older woman who I like a lot. Last night when she came in she couldn't get over a Amaryllis in flower on my desk. She had never seen one before. I had picked up 10 bulbs when they went half price. I bought out; one that the flower was just starting to come up and gave it to Mary. I told her it should be in full flower by Christmas. Mary was so surprized and touched she started crying. Funny how sometimes the cheapest gift means the most.

You just never know when your kindness or generosity is the most recent kindness or generosity that someone has received in a very long time. Nicley done!

Thank you for reminding me of the difference between price and value. No matter how little or how much that bulb cost, the flower and the gesture had great value to that dear woman.

I'm crying at the fact you did that. I'm a sap, so I totally understand how Mary felt in the moment. Overwhelmed, but in a WONDERFUL way. :)

:clap Well done, it is moments like those that make this life worth living. You are a gem, sending big hugs. :hugs Now pass the tissue box cause you made another old lady teary. :hit *sniffle*
