They roll up into a ball. Can you tell me if the hurt my garden, I noticed them in the dirt of my Parley outside. How do I get rid of them?

I have them here in my garden and they are a bit damaging to some of my plants; especially my iris rhizomes.

Fortunately my chickens like pill bugs as much as they like my plants.

Hi there,

We call them Wood Lice over here. They eat decaying wood, especially if it is damp. They live under stones, slabs, pots etc. My chickens go crazy over them. They don't seem to do any great harm in my garden but you might have a super breed on your side of the pond. :p
