2 more clues because I am feeling generous this morning. Must be the lack of sleep :D

Clue #3: The only onion in the jar is red onion, which was correctly identified by all of you.

Clue #4: There are 2 varieties of hot pepper in the jar, neither of which is a jalapeno (so everyone is blowing that one :D)

. . . serrano peppers and some of your bird peppers, Wife?

Dang! How hot might that be?!

Do people even pickle watermelon? (I know about the rind but . . . it was early in the morning - Pacific time zone, you know ;).)

Ok, here's my best guess...

serrano peppers
red onion
immature melon of some type (Collective Farm Woman, perhaps ;) )
eggplant
garlic
cayenne pepper
cucumber
nasturtium
green cherry tomato

Because I am still feeling generous, and I am still sleep deprived, I will list what has been correctly identified so far...

1. Red Onion
2. Carrot (a few small nantes)
3. Garlic (that one was easy because in one of the shots you can see garlic on the table! LOL)
4. Green Plum Tomato
5. Serrano Pepper
6. Nasturtium
7. Chiltepin Pepper (which is also sometimes referred to as a "bird pepper"...good call Steve :D)
8. ??
9. ??

So it's those egg-shaped things with the green star on the ends and the white slices that are stumping me....

Oh wait, the egg-shaped things might be the plum tomatoes then.

But if the white things aren't cukes or eggplant... Turnips perhaps??

Pickled turnips....um, I guess it doesn't matter if it sounds tasty to me or not, huh! :barnie
