I Scored Some Grass, Not sure What Kind?

I found this grass by the side of the road near a gas station.


I wish I had my camera with me, the vines were bad.


But I made my way to collect just a little bit and leave the rest for nature to do what she does best.


I think it is wonderful!

also found this which is more puffy like yours

Longspike Silver Bluestem Bothriochloa saccharoides var. longipaniculata A warm-season bunchgrass with semi-prostrate culm bases becoming ascending. Produces many fluffy, white heads from May-frost. Prolific from seeds. Likes full sun and well-drained, moist soils, tolerates occasional temporary flooding. Hardy to zone 7. Height to 4 feet.

Love the grass... I find grasses are hard to ID....:idunno.. but I'm not real familiar with them.
So many of the pretties are not hardy in the cool zones.
