Hello from Australia,
I’m looking for anyone who can identify and name these specific climbing (pole) bean seeds for me. Pods are green. Grew up to 2 meters high. Not overly productive but has these nice big seeds. Thanks in advance.

i'm not a pole bean grower so i have no certain ideas of varieties, but it would probably help if you could mention the color of the flowers and if the pods are edible or not and if there is any noticeable short or long time between planting and harvesting either edible pods or the seeds that are dry. :)

p.s. go beans! :)

Hi Jodie,
I am afraid that if this bean was not signed when you received it, identification may be impossible. Not with 100% certainty.
By the way, this bean is beautiful. Is it from Australia? I have never seen a similar bean seeds of this size with this coat pattern.

Yes, so hard to identify beans just by the seedcoat color. And many look very much alike even though they are different. But, if I were to make a random guess just from color, they look similar to Mariazeller pole bean, this is the picture from @Blue-Jay 's site -

This is why I wouldn't guess.
