I've missed you guys!!

We just got the internet hooked back up today. :weee
I've sworn off fb, but I'll never give up TEG. ;)

Unfortunately I don't have much of a garden to speak of this year. Had to let a lot of things go since my hands are full with baby. Left my bees to their own devices, thought I had to have another flock of chickens asap and a coon got them all, and oddly enough I've had more trouble with deer this year despite having very little for them to get into. Been a weird summer, but I'm getting back into the swing of things.

Looking forward to catching back up with you all. :woot

You are back!

And, we are glad you are :frow!

So good to see you here again, Journey. Catch us up on the news about the kids!

Steve

WELCOME BACK!!!!

It's good to see you, and I hope you get some time to get back to the gardening soon. Hope you're enjoying your ever growing family though. :D

That's uncanny! I was just thinking about you 5 minutes ago, wondering how things were going for you and your family!
We missed you and I'm so happy your back! :hugs

Welcome back!! Yes, do tell us about the kids! Sounds like a difficult gardening year for you. It was a good year to have a pleasant distraction- the weather was not on the gardeners side!

My 5-year old has been online playing games on Sesame Street. Looks like I will be having to fight for computer time! LOL I'll try to post a couple pics tomorrow when I have more time.

No kidding about the weather. Our power was out for a whole week following the "land hurricane". I spent a lot of time in the kiddie pool that week and we all slept downstairs on an air mattress because the upstairs was too smothering hot. Our drought only lasted a couple weeks then we got drowned in rain for August. Now the grass is growing like it's April again. :P Although I know many of you have had it much worse. I guess I'd rather have flooding than drought. I've had a black thumb anyways this summer, so if the drought didn't get my plants, I'm sure I would have found some other way to kill them...mostly by neglect! If it weren't for volunteers, I wouldn't have had any flowers this summer. Ha.

I was thinking about you last week, wondering when you would come back. I always have you to think for getting me hooked on butternut squash. Your recipe made it easy.

I forgot to add a pic of Savannah...

She's my little sunbeam, such a sweet natured little thing and so easy going. :love She's definitely come a long way and is doing so well now, big and strong. I look back at her first pictures and am startled by how blue she was! At our last appt they said her oxygen levels were up to 95% but they detected some increased pressure across the valve they had to pop open. There is a possibility that they might have to balloon it again. But we've been through all that before plus one other minor procedure they had to put her under for, so it all seems so less overwhelming now. I am so thankful for her health and feel so blessed!
