I would make the barn my house. At least the top two floors. Turn the silo into a cargo size elevator...bottom floor could be the garage/shop/ animal quarters.
Just dreaming aloud....
Sounds like a dream home for sure. I like that idea fine. DH would, too.

There is a barn nearly a double to the one in the photo just without the silo , about 5 miles from our house in SW Washington. :cool: The highway dept took quite a bit of land in the front area to widen the 2 lane to a 4 lane state highway. :caf

Me too! LOVE that fence and the barn. Someone has money and time on their hands, but it sure does look pretty. I love it when people keep old barns in good shape, as many of them are just lovely. You just don't see new barn construction that looks like that nowadays unless you are driving through Amish country.

Family across the street from me have a 2 story 19 century barn, Looks like it was built last week in such good shape. They keep their antique sports car collection in it.
