I just concluded my second year garden with west central Indiana. I've been growing a large variety of things to determine what works best here, and with my lazy style of gardening. (No till, leaf mulch) This year's new successes were Trail of Tears beans, tepary beans (acquired from Lofthouse), brazilian starfish peppers, kentucky rainbow corn. Pulled my first four legged pests as well. A rabbit and a squirrel. Also made the crazy discovery that heavily mulched tobacco rootstocks can grow back (and be split) after a mild winter. Intentionally going to try and save some of the Jasmine Tobacco for quick start next year.
