I like the fabric but it will not hold up outdoors. Unless you have it coated with something water/weather proof.

You would better just to go to the fabric store and buy outdoor fabric. As to color, I would suggest that you match it to your house, so it doesn't clash. Great winter project to enjoy all gardening season!! I'm looking for that awesome deal on a cement garden bench for MY place!! I have a perfect spot underneath two arbor vitae that I have pruned the bottom branches and it has both summer shade and good breeze flow.
