About to make my pumpkin pies and I see that my evaporated milk is older than I thought. Is it still good if it's 2 yrs. old?

Thistle, I'm not as brave as you, so I sent my son to the store. I sure don't want to get anyone sick on Thanksgiving day.

I had chicken stock cubes from 2005, I still used them until recently tyen I added them to the hog feed and bought a new bottle.

Tons of things I keep using until they get a weird smell or just give me a feeling like I shouldn't risk it, then the hogs are extra happy to see me, lol.

It really depends on WHAT it is. And WHAT the expiration date says.

MIL gave me 2 boxes of Kraft Macaroni & cheese from her pantry. Recently.

So, about one month later...I go to use one. I dumped the sauce powder in the melted butter...to mix it up.

It was brown. And smelled,.....WEIRD :sick

I refused to even feed it to the chickens. So I scraped it all into the trash, and checked the box. NO expiration date. NO..."Use by ..." date. Wow. That ch*t must have been OLD :ep I saved the uncooked noodles (I don't use those kind of mac noodles anyways), cooked them up the next day for the chickens. THOSE...smelled funny and off too. :th

she must have had those for years....!!!!! :ep
