I live 30 minutes south of Champaign/Urbana, and I grew up in Chicagoland. I agree--look for Greek food markets in Chicago. I have grapevines and Montmorency Cherry trees (the tart ones, for canning and baking) and those leaves look like neither.
What sort of gardening do you like to do? Check out the posts here, and you'll find that there are many people who live pretty close to you, with very good advice.

thanks for the info , I will just end up using receipe with no leaves, so far I am just doing gardening in some pots at home so no need for help
