ISO Info on Plants Endemic to the Middle East

I need to find a plant that is Endemic to the Middle East for my Biology class. I have searched the WWW and all I can find are books for sale relating to Middle eastern plants.
Does anyone know of a specific plant that I might be able to research?

google "native plants <country>" (that is, "native plants israel" or "native plants lebanon" or whatever you prefer). You will find a number of sites that name names, and you can pick whichever plant you like.
