On letting the dryer vent in the house.....put panty hose over the end of the dryer vent to keep lint from flying all over the house.
U bet. & clean it to keep heat from backing up and setting off drier fuses.

And PLEASE remember, this only works with electric dryers. Gas dryers give off carbon monoxide -- an odorless, poisonous gas -- and should always, always, always be vented outside.
