Growing up on our farm...I can remember my Grandma McClure growing these beans and making the most wonderful soups with them.... I always loved their color and their flavor..... Does anyone raise this variety and have ANY to swap or sell?

Well.. a quick google search turned up quite a few hits including various places selling them for as little as $5 for a 1lb bag.. If nothing else pans out that should work

Jacobs cattle bean has been grown so long and is such a favorite that they have picked up a lot of regional names such as, apaloosa bean, painted pony bean, trout bean and other terms.
