Everyone knows how petunias get very 'leggy' as the season goes on.

Well, I had read about cutting back the 'leggy' stems as much as 2/3 which I did, and it WORKED. They came back just BEAUTIFUL.

That is good to know- how long did it take before you noticed new buds? Do you have wave petunias or regular? Thanks!

I would like to know the same?! Mine have gotten leggy, and I always pinch back the blooms, but I have tidal wave petunias and none wave petunias. It seems my wave petunias are the leggiest right now, but also have the most blooms?

I have always had great luck cutting back both types of Petunias.
Within a couple of days cutting them back I see new leaves. I currently have some potted ones that have begun to bloom again.
