Forgive me if im completely off track! This is the only time ive ever planted lettuce, plenty of other fruits n veggies lol this ones a funny story!
i remembered seeing buttercrunch lettuce used as accents in a garden. My goodness, beauties! Well could not find any started local. So i ordered seeds and planted some! My beautiful off-colored lettuce came up and grew and grew...i found out how yummy it actually is...the turtle agreed...let some seed...now in Feb! Im finding little sprouts in my yard! Still have seed left from last year...should i dig up my little early eager ones? Or well im sure the frost will kill them??

Not to worry... chances are if there are some, there will be more. I laugh every time I cut my grass in the backyard. The area near my square foot garden is all lettuce.

I had some do that last year. I left it a while, then ate it. Too good

I started buttercrunch about two weeks ago in peat pellets. I have two - five in each pellet, can I separate them? I already separated my cabbage so I went from 6 to 9 cabbage, I only kept the strong looking ones. They look good but I was thinking that there was something about lettuce.
